Read a letter addressed to Dr Birch FRS dated Jermyn Street 1 June 1762 and signed Samuel More, concerning reports from Dr Wolf of Dantzig the time of the end of the late transit of Venus as it was observed there by Mr Harow, with measurements 2. Read a letter addressed to the Reverend Mr Bliss FRS Savilian Professor of geometry at Oxford, dated at Oxford, 18 June 1762 and signed Thomas Hornsby, 'wherein Mr Hornsby applys the observations made upon occasion of the late Transit of Venus, and the observations by Mr Horrox [Horrocks] of the Transit of 1639, to determine the elements of the motions fo Venus.'
