The minutes of the last meeting were read.

The third number of Mr Nicholson's Journal of Natural philosophy, Chemistry and the Arts and the 45th number of Mr Tilloch's Philosophical Magazine were presented by their respective editors, and thanks ordered. 

His Serene Highness Maximilian Joseph Elector Palatine of Bavaria waas proposed for elections. As a sovereign Prince he was immediately put to the ballot and unanimously elected.

Mr Charles Burney elected at the last meeting, attended, paid his admission fee coumpounded for annual contributions and having signed the obligation in th Charter Book was admitted a Fellow of the Society

John Liptrap Esq of Mile End in the County of Middlesex, whose certificate had hung the usual time in the meeting room, was put to the ballot and chosen into the Society.

Progress was made on the Stony and Metallic substances which have at different times fallen on the Earth, and the reamainder was postponed to a future meeting [contents not summarised]</dc:description>
