Ink Inscribed 'Weight of an ol press cat at Carron, 1778 22cwt. 3.5 qr at fourteen shillings and sixpence = £16 11 8d' Note in the hand of John Farey 'In a letter to the Carron Company dated 7 February 1782, he makes mention of a windmill axis and oil press that they had cast for him the year before the last.
