Correspondence between Professor Sune Bergstrom and Sir John Vane Sir John Vane and Professor Bergstrom conducted similar research into prostaglandins and prostacyclin: in 1982, along with Professor Bengt Samuelsson, they were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
