'The instruments used are kept in a small Study facing the N.E. where no fires are kept &amp; the observations are generally made about ten o'clock in the morning. The situation of the Garden is warm &amp; the Soil a strong Loam, bottoming upon Marl: the Soil is improved by the addition of River Sand'. </dc:description>
