<dc:title>Magnetic and meteorological observations at the Trivandrum Magnetic Observatory, India, by John Caldecott and others</dc:title>
<dc:description>Graphical curves of daily and monthly means by hour, from observations made at Trivandrum [Thiruvananthapuram], Kerala. Each sheet contains a single month of observations, relating to: tension of vapour, barometer, calculated wet and dry bulb thermometer, vertical force thermometer and magnetometer, horizontal force thermometer and magnetometer, and declination magnetometer.

Each sheet is headed: 'Curves of the monthly means [or daily means] correspnding to each hour...', with the date, place, and longitude and latitude. There are notes by John Caldecott, one initialled [p.9]. Several graphs [p.11, p.13, p.15, p.17] are signed 'Drawn by G. Coorien'; with one [p.19] 'Drawn by A. Itee'. Presumably both were assistants or calculators at the observatory.</dc:description>
