Only the recto pages contain data; there are occasional aide-memoires or names and addresses on the verso pages, for example [p.82] 'Jessie Hartley Esqr. Trentham Street'.      

Each sheet is headed: 'Meteorological Register for the Port of Liverpool.'. Inscribed in pencil [p.1]: 'Prince's Dock'.</dc:description>
