<dc:title>Wind and rain curves recorded at Singapore Observatory, supervised by Charles Morgan Elliot </dc:title>
<dc:description>Daily curves made by a self-recording anemometer at Singapore Observatory. Each sheet records three tracks from 12.00 noon to 12 noon on successive days. The central line records wind direction, while wind speed and possibly rainfall appear on the lines above and below, most likely recorded by an Osler anemometer.

Each sheet is dated, inscribed 'Observatory at Singapore', or 'Magnetic Observatory...' and signed with variations on 'C.M. Elliot Lt. Engineers'. Occasionally inscribed verso, with general titles and depatch information via Southamton.</dc:description>
