  <dc:description>Graphical representations of meteorological observations made at the Regimental hospital, Pune, Maharashtra State. Two diagrams per sheet. The upper diagram is headed: 'Barometer, and Wind and Rain Diagram from the 9 1/2am [eg 9.30am] observations'. The lower is headed: 'Thermometer and Hygrometer Diagram'. Direction of wind is noted by compass arrows.  There is no graph for June 1858.

Each sheet is headed 'Meteorological Observatory at Poona [or Camp Poona]...'. Observations were made by Private Richard Fitzsimmon, 3rd Bombay European Regiment, January-May 1858 and by Lance Corporal J.P. Vincent, 2nd Bombay European Regiment of Light Infantry, July-December 1858. Signed by various assistant surgeons [many illegible], including Alexander Dudgeon Gulland and G.P.M. Woodward. Occasional dates of receipt pencilled verso. Typed paper label [p.22]: 'Poona. Barometer etc. diagrams. 1858.'. </dc:description>
