Various printed columns, of which only the morning section relating to barometer (with attached thermometer) and hygrometer readings, wind and cloud are used, together with general remarks on the weather. Secondary tables of maximums, minimums and means of the barometer, thermometer and hygrometer are also completed.

Each sheet is headed: 'Hourly observations taken at the Meteorological Observatory at Bombay, commencing from 6am on the [date]...for consecutive 24 hours'. Signed below by the observer, either Govind Ramchundra or Hurry Chintamun. Signed by E.F.T. Fergusson as Superintendent of the Government Observatory.   </dc:description>
