The upper diagram is headed: 'Barometer, and Wind and Rain Diagram from the 9.30a.m. observations'. The lower is headed: 'Thermometer and Hygrometer Diagram'. Direction of wind is also represented. Each sheet is headed 'Meteorological Observatory at Bombay', with the date. From p.7, the printed sheets are engraved lower left and right: 'H. James Captn. R.E. delt. J.W. Lowry sc.'. The author of the sheets is not noted, but these are based upon the observations made by Govind Ramchundra and others. 1 January-31 December 1858
