<dc:title>Letter from [George James] Symons, 62 Camden Square, London, to the Secretaries of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Refers to visting 'most' of the hot springs in the Pyrenees last autumn. After his return Symons found that Professor [James David] Forbes had made temperature examinations of the hot springs in 1885. Symons expresses disappointment at not being able to re-test the the springs. Requests a grant to assist him in re-determining the temperature as laid down by Professor Forbes in 1836 of the Philosophical Transactions. Symons is unable to provide a determined value but estimates it would cost under £50.</dc:description>
