Letter from Robert [Henry] Scott, Meteorological Office, 63 Victoria Street, London, to [Michael] Foster, Secretary of the Royal Society Informs that volumes of meteorological observations from Trevandrum by [John] Allan Broun have been forwarded to India. [William] Ellis of Greenwich Observatory has examined the 'residual' [manuscripts]. Scott has forwarded a copy of Ellis's report to the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and enquires 'if that Society is prepared to receive the boxes and preserve them with their archives'. 12 May 1891
