Letter from [William James] Lewis,Trinity College Cambridge, to [Professor Michael] Foster Informs that he has sent the Royal Society a framed platinotype photograph of the late Professor [unnamed] to H Miller, who is associated with the Society. The picture has been magnified from small photographs in the possession of Miller by [Henry Edward] Irving Taylor. Hopes the Society will accept the the photograph and place it upon their walls. 12 January 1898
