Letter from Arthur [William] Rücker, The Athenaeum, to Mr Harrison, The Royal Society As demanded by the Kew Committee, in relation to concerns posed by the proposed electric railway, technical experts, Professor Peny[?] and Rücker himself, are attending as Royal Society representatives. Asks for any communication from the Treasury and Office of Works to be forwaded to his personal address. Rücker does not know whether the Treasury have accepted the proposed railway but Professor [Michel] Foster wrote to [Stephen] Spring Rice personally. 18 February 1898
