  <dc:description>Informs the Committee formed for consideration of Fowler's application, formed of Sir John Murray, Sir [William Thiselton-Dyer], Professor [Thomas George] Bonney, Professor [Walter Frank Raphael] Weldon, and  Professor [Sir William Abbott] Herdman, have had their meeting. 

Sir John Murray could not attend but approved the recommendation. Professor Hardman was unable to attend and whilst he holds objections, was willing to agree with the recommendation. Includes an official statement by the Committee, indicating that they deem Fowler's proposed investigations to be of great interest and importance.</dc:description>
