Letter from J S Krochowski, London, to the Secretary of the Royal Society, Burlington House Refers to a picture purchased by the Picture Gallery of Prince Czartoryski Museum at Goluchow Castle in 1880, thought to be the original portait of Nicolaus Copernicus, of which 'Larman' of Berlin made a copy. Krochowski has seen at the Royal Society's rooms a photograph of the picture which would enable to them to make a comparison of the two, therefore requests permission to have a photograph taken. 20 April 1904
