<dc:title>Letter from the Manager of the British Vacuum Cleaner Company, 25 Victoria Street, to the Secretary of the Royal Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly</dc:title>
<dc:description>Dear Sir, We are in receipt of your letter of the 7th instant [NLB/29/405] and beg to inform you that two estimates were rendered you, and the cleaning was carried out on both of them. One for £14.10.0 less 4/- has been duly settled by you, but the one dated 18th July for £1.15.0. is still owing. When our Mr Booth called upon you, he must have overlooked the fact that a separate estimate had been given for cleaning the drawing room, dining room and study. We re-enclose statement herewith. Yours truly, For the British Vacuum Cleaner Co., Ltd., [Charles ?], Managing Director' [enclosure not present]. </dc:description>
