Letter from Charles Bell, 6 Ainslie Place, Edinburgh, to Dr. [Peter Mark] Roget, [Secretary of the Royal Society] Requesting the Society starts sending their 'Philosophical Transactions' to the University of Edinburgh Library again or if not, to give a reason for discontinuing the practice. Bell additionally refers to his upcoming series of papers on the distinctions of the nerves of the spine and of the encephalon. He also includes a small note of opinion on the Bridgewater treatise. 2 March 1838
