<dc:title>Letter from [Alfred Bray] Kempe, Hotel de Rome & Suisse, Venice, [Italy], to Mr [Robert Frederick William] Harrison</dc:title>
<dc:description>Returns Bottomley's cheque signed [not present]. Is glad the Harrison family has a good holiday. Kempe enjoyed his time in Surrey but was perturbed by the Ceylon [Sri Lanka] report, the papers for which are with [Thoedore] James. Kempe had a good journey to Venice via Brussels, Strasburg and Milan though Milan was a busy due to the exhibition. Comments on the weather and hotel in Venice. Plans to be back in London on October 10th or 11th to try a case on the 12th but it may be sooner (via Newcastle). Has written to [Herbert] Rix and sent him his £50 as he heard he wanted it.</dc:description>
