<dc:title>Letter from Francis Gotch, The Lawn, Banbury Road, Oxford, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison</dc:title>
<dc:description>A 'lady friend' of Gotch's has been asked by a French writer, Monsieur F Mathieu if it would be possible to obtain a verbatim copy of a letter 'believed' to be in the archives of the Royal Society, a letter from Masenne to Theodore Hall, dated 12 June 1647. Gotch requests permission for his friend Mrs Bode to access the archives to 'ascertain' if this letter exists.
