Letter from [Augustus George Vernon] Harcourt, St Clare, Ryde, Isle of Wight, to [Joseph] Larmor, [Royal Society] Encloses his account of some recent observations of the rate of a chemical change at different temperatures, and with it an appendix, a ppaper by [William] Esson dealing with his figures and those of other writers [enclosure not present]. Informs he suggested that the contribution is large in scope and should therefore appear as the principal paper, followed by his as a recent piece of work communicated to him. Offers to come to the Royal Society to give a spoken account of his work and to show the experimental illustration. Includes a small diagram. Informs that his brother died two to three years ago.
