Letter from [Herbert Hall] Turner, University Observatory, Oxford, to the President of the [Royal Society] Informs he is going to Cambridge in any case to represent Oxford University and will gladly also act as representative of the Royal Society. States he will be attending the funeral of Mr S.A Saunder of Wellington, who he believes has a strong case for election as Fellow of the Royal Society, had he lived. Asks whether the Royal Society wishes to send a representative to the funeral and if so, he nominates himself for the task. 9 December 1912
