Responding to previous correspondence from Harrison, who informed her that Professor Sampson deems a conference with her unnecessary, she wishes to meet with Sir [William] Crookes at his earliest convenience, as other matters concerning Lady Higgins' Estate hang somewhat on this. Finds herself pressed for a reply she cannot give until preliminaries of the Memorial are arranged. 30 October 1915
