Letter from [David] Prain, Kew, to Mr [Robert] Harrison, The Assistant Secretary, The Royal Society In relation to the Indian Government Advisory Committee, states that Professor C Brynes Jones was not considered at all in connection with the appointment at Pusa, the name not having been among those mentioned at the premilinary meeting, nor among those sent subsequently to the Chairman by the members present at that meeting, nor was it among those brought up at the formal meeting of the Committee. 13 March 1915
