Letter from [Herbert Brereton] Baker, Imperial College of Science and Technology (Royal College of Science), South Kensington, London, S.W Informs that Mr Adlam is no longer able to use a balance which was brought from a Governmment Grant, requesting to borrow it if there are no other requests for the loan of the balance. Desires another atomic wieght balance, stating that he has one of his own with which 4 redeterminsation of different atomic weights have been made during the last year, but with so many workers to one balance great delay is caused, especailly as each weighing involves the sole use of the balance for three hours. 25 May 1915
