Letter from Tom F Burton, Editor, Society of Chemical Industry, 63 Melbury Gardens, West Wimbledon, London, S.W, to The Assistant Secretary, Royal Society Enquires whether the Royal Society proposes to take any action in view of the proposed restitution by at least 50% of the amount of paper needed by all publications, of whatever nature. The restitution, if applied to the learned societies will prove highly detrimental to the distribution of information of vital importance to the industries of the country. Hopes to take joint action in the matter, making arrangements to discuss it. 7 February 1916
