Letter from J H [John Henry] Lefroy, Woolwich, to the Secretary of the Royal Society Applying on behalf of the Canadian Institute of Toronto for the 'Philosophical Transactions' and 'Proceedings' of the Royal Society. Lefroy offers some background information on the institute and goes on to request the supply of single copies of the 'Transactions' to all regularly incorporated scientific or literary societies in the British colonies. 27 October 1853
