<dc:title>Letter from Frederick John Marrian Stratton to Sir Henry George Lyons, International Council of Scientific Unions, Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, England</dc:title>
<dc:description>Is sending a copy of their 1937 report. The bank balance of the Council is very close to £1000 and he will obtain a statement. The only commitments outside the country are annual grants to Professor Brunner at Zurich for the 'Bulletin of Solar Activity' and to Professor [Johannes Martinus] Burgers at Delf for the Committee on Science and Social Activity. There may later be a small sum due to Professor Abetti of Florence for the recently published volume on solar and terrestrial relationships.</dc:description>
