Letter from John David Griffith Davies to Sir Henry George Lyons, The Royal Society at Trinity College, Cambridge Davies thanks Lyons for his letter of 27 October and the account of his stewardship as Treasurer. He thinks it ought to be put into print for the benefit of Fellows and so it is not lost. Davies think such decennial reports by Treasurers ought to be printed in the Year Book. If Lyons agrees he will include this in the agenda for the next Officers' Meeting. Davies is suffering a 'Welshman's nostalgia in a land bereft of hills and dales!'. 29 October 1939
