<dc:title>Letter from Sir Henry Thomas Tizard, to John David Griffith Davies [Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Account of an unexpected visit by Mr [Charles] Taft who Tizard was unable to entertain due to a prior engagement, and his subsequent decision to extend an invitation to Taft for lunch with him at the Athanaeum on Thursday. Also includes a comment on a letter from Mr Higgins, with Tizard expressing a preference for vesting patent rights in the nominee company of Williams Deacons Bank to avoid complications involved when patent rights are held by committee members.

A postscript response to a letter from Brian W Downs notes that he belatedly received the letter and so any response should be sent care of the British Embassy, or if not, the British Embassy.</dc:description>
