<dc:title>Draft letter from William Abbott Herdman, to members of the Royal Society Zoological Committee</dc:title>
<dc:description>Noting that Herdman has received two suggestions for the award of the Gunning Fund. The Reverend T.R.R. Stebbing has recomended a grant to Dr. Arthur Willey, to enable him to complete his researches on the Nautilus. Professor Howes has recommended W.H.R. Rivers for the purpose of investigating colour vision, and experimental psychological observation of the Todas or other hill tribes of southern India. Rivers has a supporting letter from Professor Haddon. He asks committee members which should be supported so that he may lay one of them before the Physiology and Botany Committees. </dc:description>
