Letter from William Turner Thiselton-Dyer, Kew, to Michael Foster, the Secretary, the Royal Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly The plants collected during Theodore Bent's expedition to Hadhramaut have been worked on at Kew and he sends a report on them. The expenses were borne in part by the Royal Society and in part by Kew. A substantial number of specimens were collected under difficult circumstances, adding to the scanty knowledge of the interior of Arabia. Duplicate specimens have been deposited with the British Museum, according to the general rule observed at Kew. He regrets that the British Museum does not always reciprocate.
