<dc:title>Copy of letter from David Douglas to the Earl of Elgin</dc:title>
<dc:description>On the 'Kincardine Papers' a volume of holograph letters written by Sir Robert Moray (whilst in Maastricht) to Alexander Bruce, Earl of Kincardine (Bremen & other places).

The volume came into the hands of Douglas through Prof Cosmo Innes, though Douglas states he does not know anything more about the provenance of the letters.

Douglas wishes to pass the volume onto the Earl, believing he has the best claim to them.</dc:description>
