Letter from Victoria Mary Louise King to Robert Harrison, Assistant Secretary, Royal Society Concerning a portrait of Sir Humphry Davy, purchased by her late husband's uncle (Sir Thomas Poole). Poole had been left £50 in Sir Humphry Davy's will to "purchase some token of remembrance" and bought the portrait of Davy with this money. The portrait was painted by Professor Henry Howard in 1803. 5 January 1897
