Letter from Joseph Priestley to Josiah Wedgwood
On discovering, or rediscovering after Dr Withering, the 'true regular' of Mangonese. Priestley describes the experiment in which many of Wedgwood's earthen tubes and retors were used, predicting a heavy demand for them from other chemists. He also wishes a different design of tube to be made and describes his experiments on a kind of earth.
