<dc:title>Letter from James Tisdall, Dublin, to Sir Robert Southwell, at the Council Office, Whitehall</dc:title>
<dc:description>Tisdall has taken care of the Kincorran business, complaining to 'his Grace' [the Duke of Ormand] aboout delays. Notes a meeting with Sir John Champantere and Mr Robinson before Ormand. Sir John excused himself, saying that the warrant required him to pay Southwell from money designed for the Fort, but that the money never passed the Treasury. He advised Ormand to draw a warrant requiring Mr Robinson to pay Southwell. Mr Robinson indicated that he would pay and has since gone to Kinsale. Tisdall sends an original document by post to Mr Brown at Kinsale and therefore the money should be received. Notes that his brother has retired to the country.'

Addressed: ' To be left with Mr Philip Madox at the Councill Office in Whitehall in London'.</dc:description>
