<dc:title>Letter from Reuben Burrow, Greenwich, to the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Forwarding the observations he and Nevil Maskelyne made in relation to Schiehallion.

The observations were to determine the earth's density by measuring the deviation of a plumb line produced by the gravitational attraction of the mountain Schiehallion in Perthshire, and by observing stars near the zenith on both the north and south sides of the mountain. </dc:description>
