Sundial by Isaac Newton A stone sundial comprising a rectangular stone panel, carved with a segmented hemisphere, numbered 1-5 and 7-12 and bearing part of Newton's name as a signature. Contained in an oak carrying case, the cover with an inscribed brass plate giving details of the presentation. Said to have been cut by Sir Isaac Newton at his childhood home, Woolsthorpe Manor. 17th century
