Longcase clock by Thomas Tompion A month going walnut longcase clock, with finely matted centre, seconds dial, calendar aperture with pin hole adjustment and beareded mask. The case with a flat topped hood flaned by brass xapped pilasters, the trunk with a long veneered door, the plinth crossbanded and inlaid with a chevron band. The 12-inch dial signed 'Tho Tompion Fecit'. c.1700
