<dc:title>Letter from the Duke of Sussex to John George Children</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Duke of Sussex notes an advertisement in the Morning Chronicle the preceding Thursday informing Fellows of the Royal Society and Royal Astronomical Society of the details of the funeral of Edward Troughton. Troughton's executor, Mr Sheepshanks the Executor has called on the Duke with the same announcement. The Duke asks Children to mention it at the meeting of the Society to be held that evening.

A note on the final page reads 'Autograph, Imprimatur HRH'. This note, and the handwriting suggest that the letter was written for the Duke rather than by him.</dc:description>
