Continuing the exploration of the'gallery' and noting animal remains found: in particular hyena and rhinoceros. They have found 'unquestionable charred bone', 'good flint flakes', and a 'considerable amount of teeth' from cave mammals, horse, hyena, and rhinocerus. 2 April 1866
