Exploration of the 'Lecture Hall' continued into August and September: excavated ground already investigated by McEnery and unexplored ground. Cave mammals bones and teeth were found, alongside faecal matter. Some pieces of deposit were sent to the secretary's house for breaking up, in order to examine bones - thought to be that of a cave bear. Five flint flakes were found.</dc:description>
