<dc:title>Letter from [Heinrich] Barth, 39 Alpha Road, North West to Edward Sabine</dc:title>
<dc:description>Barth informs Sabine the news in the herald regarding the death of Mr [Vogel] is incorrect. A small parcel of meteorological and astronomical observations has been received at the Foreign Office. Barth suggests Sabine should write to the Foreign Office and request the meteorological observations, in order to prevent them being taken on my someone with less experience on the subject. The astronomical observations will be sent to the Mr [John Russel] Hind. Barth hopes to send Sabine the first three volumes of his narrative.</dc:description>
