Letter from David Brewster, Allerly, Melrose to Edward Sabine Brewster has been asked to write a short notice of [Friedrich Wilhelm Heinrich Alexander von] Humboldt for the [?] Dictionary, and asks Sabine if he could guide him where he can find information on Humboldt’s later works. Requests Sabine to send various volumes of magnetical observations and unusual disturbances, and has enclosed a list of volumes already received [see MS/257/1/231]. 21 June 1861
