The Board of Visitors has passed a resolution recommending the purchase of a telescope of Mr [Thomas] Grubb’s design. Reference to funding the telescope. Wilson expresses their anxiousness at retaining ‘the right to accepting [William] Lassell’s telescope if they fail in getting funding for Grubb’s.</dc:description>
