Letter from [William Parkinson] Wilson, Melbourne University to Edward Sabine [Update regarding the great Melbourne telescope]. Wilson thanks Sabine for a copy of his address to The Royal Society, and a translation of Struve’s account of his visit to Malta. The Board of Visitors has passed a resolution recommending the purchase of a telescope of Mr [Thomas] Grubb’s design. Reference to funding the telescope.
