<dc:title>Letter from James Francis Tennant, 22 Henrietta Street to Edward Sabine </dc:title>
<dc:description>Regarding Mr [Norman Robert] Pogson’s report of the Madras Observatory 1st May 1866. The magnetic instruments have not been changed [at the Madras Observatory in Chennai] since 1841, and Pogson is aware of this ‘inferiority’ and has been able to get ‘considerable’ repairs. Tennant suggests this may help Sabine if he wishes to take up the matter.</dc:description>
