<dc:title>Letter from John Welsh, Inverness to Edward Sabine</dc:title>
<dc:description>[Update regarding Kew Committee’s magnetic survey of the British Isles], and the places Welsh has visited in regard to this. At Lochgoilhead Welsh found Sir [Pasley?] packing up. On his visit to Helensburgh, Welsh found Mr Smith and Mr Archibald Smith. Inverness is Welsh’s 22nd station and he has been able to get the azimuth for all stations except three. Welsh details his travel plans along the east coast, and his ‘troublesome’ dip circle.</dc:description>
