Copy letter, John William Lubbock, Treasurer of the Royal Society, to Henry Ellis, British Museum Noting the agreement between the two institutions on sharing expenses in the valuation of manuscripts and duplicate printed books. Lubbock has received a bill from Messrs Payne and Foss for valuing the Arundel manuscripts and asks that the Trustees of the British Museum consider reimbursing half of the cost at their next meeting. The Royal Society has already settled the bill. 13 December 1830
