<dc:title>Copy letter, James Hudson, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, to John Lindley</dc:title>
<dc:description>Hudeson is not authorised to receive Lindley's annual contribution to the Society, which is overdue, until he has spoken to the Treasurer on the subject. The statutes require payment on or before the meeting preceding St Andrew's Day. Hudson encloses a copy of the statutes. He also intended to enclose a specimen of the letter addressed to Lindley on 9 May, but does not have a copy to spare. </dc:description>
